John G Moore is a professional photographer based in Glasgow Scotland. Creative from his early years, Moore started his photography with a Kodak brownie that his grandfather gave him when he was five. Moore has since progressed to become one of the UK's formative photographic talents. Regularly published in magazines such as Photography Monthly, Digital Photographer, Professional Photographer, Amateur Photographer, and Outdoor Photography, he is an accomplished, multi-faceted photographer, an expert in digital imaging techniques, and he is as comfortable working in Hollywood with rock stars, as he is taking landscapes in Skye.
Moore's eye for composition, clarity, deep tonal rendition, and an understanding of the transcendental nature of light, all portrayed in an almost understated way, combine to make his photography an exception to the norm. As testament to his talents, he regularly works on corporate, commercial and editorial assignments in the USA and the UK.Moore recently released his first book titled SPIRIT to critical acclaim. The book features fine art landscape photography of the Sierra Nevada Mountain range in California. It has already received recognition and support from some of the most prestigious names in the industry including Adobe, Hasselblad, Microsoft, and Lenovo computers. A percentage of sales proceeds from the book are being donated to charity.
